buisness as usual

I've considered blogging a lot since my last post in September. I've logged on with the intention of blooging. Really, I have. But every time I do, I realize that I don't have anything to blog about. SO....I will be writing 3 new things that have been going on in my life since last I blogged. Here goes....

1) I have a job! I babysit for Kati twice a week now. I don't exactly make enough to live on, but it's a start.

2) I Hate Spanish! I have discovered that I am not especially gifted in the area of learning a second language. I got a ridiculously low grade on my exam yesterday. Oh well...

3) ummmm.......well.......ok..........well, i could......no........wait.........I can't think of a third thing!

more later. (hopefully) :)

busy busy busy

Sorry its been a while. I've been pretty busy lately.
Wednesday was awesome, but sad at the same time. It's hard to believe that there won't be any more services with Pastor Matt and Amanda. The whole youth groups is upset, but we'll make it. Right now, I'm doing school (well, maybe not RIGHT now...). I have to get it done so that I can pack for Fall Retreat (YES!!!). Stephanie is coming over later (YES!!!) and I just got 100 % percent on a Algebra unit assessment (YES!!!) Its been a good day so far. (but science is next....)
I have to go finish school. More later :)

is it free???

ok. i admit it. i am extremely cheap.
whenever someone asks me to do anything, i usually ask how much it costs. i don't like to do things that cost a lot of money. i wont pay $10 for a shirt. $5 is stretching it. i obsess over the price of EVERYTHING. that's what i love about the grace of God. its free. completely free. no strings attached. no hidden fees or special taxes. no down-payments or interest rates. its free. even i can afford that!

one more week

i have one more week of freedom left before school starts. im a little less than excited. i havent even gotten my school books in the mail yet. (which is strange because they usually get here a month before school starts.)

ive been reading alot about faith lately. in Mark, the disciples lack it at first, even after Jesus does amazing miracles. They witnessed him feed the 5,000 with 5 loaves and 2 fish, and then a few chapters later, they didnt think that he could feed the 4,000 with 7 loaves. i guess it takes alot for some people. (including me at times)

well, i have to go. more later

road trip!

im all packed for nationals!!!! i cant wait for sunday. :) i have nothing to do till 1:30, then im leaving for choir practice. ive been warming up my voice for a while. its a little rusty since sunday when i lost it.
i've decided to color my hair. i got really dark brown with goldish red highlights. ill do it tomorrow at chelsie's house.
I've been reading throught the book of Matthew for the last month. Jesus talks alot about the end times in the later chapters. I've been looking at my life and making sure i'm ready for when he comes.
the trip to Charlette is going to be soooo long. Im bringing my mp3 player (junky though it is) a book, cards, york peppermint patties, and 4 narnia stories on CD. Anyone who wants to sit next to me can listen to them too. :)

all our owies

we were praying tonight and Hannah started. "Dear Jesus, pray for God, who came to take care of all our owies." he came to take care of everything that we ever messed up. he made it all better. wow. its been awhile since i thought about it that way, through that perspective.
